Mother's Day in Brazil

Mother's day is the most challenging day for us.....in Brazil it is the custom to give a Breakfast Basket for one, two, or three people either with or without a flower arrangement. Besides a baskets all types of flowers are also very popular.

Fortunately many clients do not mind us delivering the gifts on the Saturday; also many recipients live in apartment buildings so we start Sunday deliveries at midnight, first to the buildings then in the morning we deliver to houses. It is a huge logistic challenge, but historically we have managed to deliver everything by 10 am on Sunday morning.

Mother's day is the best and worst day of the year; the best because everyone wants the same product, on the same day, at the same time. The worst because of the difficult logistics.
